No, of course not, it wouldn't fit his style. Why would he want to move around the ring like Ali? He was not Ali, he was Joe Louis, and Joe Louis did not dance like Ali, he shuffled foreward rhythmically like Joe Louis was supposed to. So, the answer to your question is no, he could not have moved around the ring like Ali because he was Joe Louis, and his uncle Tom feet were incapable of any such movement whatsoever.
