Shawn is too unexperianced at the moment,not many guys at 154 could hang with Kirkland,before he went prison,he was one of the most exciting fighters in boxing,nonstop aggression

Lets be real, hes a kid and hasn't beat anyone that would be close to the talent of a James Kirkland. Porter has a lot to prove before we can say hes a legit top guy in a division. We already know Kirkland is legit.

i would love that fight. and for those who question my experience keep in mind my amateur background and that i was with estrada, andrade, jacobs, wade, guerrero and others for most of my amateur career. who has kirkland fought to earn such big ups around here. julio? come on man julio is a blown up 147 and is slower than everything.

I have to see Porter in tough, stylewise, talent wise, I think Porter's got it. Porter was also the better amateur.

he's gotten quite good, tho i know you won in the amatuers
i think your both more experienced now
you think you two are headed for a collision course?
would be a good one, obviously not soon, hopefully in the future as a big fight between two champions

Kirkland doesn't impress me as much as Shawn..

Shawn is sharp with good movement and good power.

Kirkland's defense is just horrible. He gets wobbled in nearly every fight. When he comes up against an accurate puncher like Shawn he's going to hit the canvas.

Maybe 3 or 4 more fights under his belt and Shawn puts Kirkland away in 4, maybe 5 rounds.

i might some day. right now i am at 154/147 and they are all 154 to 168.
