he's got a great record, tho do you think his sticking around so long has diminished the way people will look at his accomplishments in the future?

i dont even think historians look into your career past prime, unless you manage to beat some other names

i dont have an ATG list but i'd like to think james is somewhere in the top 40

He's going to keep fighting until he decides he wants to hang the gloves up.. Either way you look at it he's a guaranteed hall of famer.

no doubt toney was an excellent boxer in his day...like i said, i aint hating on the guy at all...that **** just makes me laugh...as far as not watching him now, theres fat and washed up fighters and then theres james toney...just not entertaining anymore, IMO...

as far as the hall of fame, wasnt he busted for roids at least once? that certainly wont help his chances...

the steroids accusation wont be much of an argument to keep him out of the hall of fame.
he was still fat(steroids dont give you super strenght or nothin, it just makes you recover faster therefore you can work harder and improve quicker while taking shorter breaks between workouts)
james still being a fatty in the fight he tested positive means he did'nt even use the steroid to the point at which he'd be at any more of an advantage he has had naturally
