I admire Shane he is one of my favorites , but he is exaggerating a bit , I mean first of all , Cotto fought him , and Cotto aint scared of nobody. Manny might be scared of him. But then again, Manny takes risk , up to now he has shown us that he likes to take challenges and fight the best. In some cases they might have no chance , or might be past their prime but oh well lol. But seriously , Shane fighting Berto makes sense, He either can take out an up and coming fighter which has some pretty good skills , and prove he has plenty left , Or Margarito got caught in a bad night , with a really good fighter in Mosley. This fight will prove that ,I personally believe , he has more than enough to beat Berto. This is a prove situiation for Berto. Mosley is a hall of famer , that is hanging out with Hopkins and has picked up that , I might be old but I am still hungry, and whooping ass kind of attitude Hopkins has. Then again , u r only as old as u feel. Mosley is still sharp , still has more than decent speed , power , boxing. His feet might be suspect , but his hunger might overcome all. He is exaggerating a bit , tho SCARED??? who?? Floyd...

Pacquiao and Floyd both beat Mosley, btw.
Mosley has already had expeience with a tall fighter wityh a good, long left hand, in Vernon Forrest. So, in his last few money-making years, there's no need for him to match with someone whose size and reach outdo him considerably.

dam why is everyone talking about williams saying he can go down to 147 when he didnt ask to go down to 154 for martinez belt. Dude is not a welter anymore he just says he can still make 147 cuz it adds to his "most feared fighter" claim. I like williams but he ruined his chances of being taken seriously at 147 when he decided to move up, people were already scared of him and he gave them an excuse not to fight him.

Originally posted by Hotbox2 View PostTalk is cheap! Mosley if he really stands by his word then why didn't he fight Paul Williams? Paul Williams would retire him and he knows it. Look what Williams did to Winky Wright an Wright easily beat Mosley. First off Mosley and Pacquiao should get off those steroids. He takes the same thing Pacquiao takes. They will be exposed soon but Mosley has already been found to have taken that stuff before. Whoever don't think they are on it then they don't know boxing and thats a fact. Also what is he talking about, Cotto already had beaten him so that shows he can't clean out no division. Cotto is clean and Mosley is dirty. We need to get these dirty roid fighters out the game. It's going to put a dark cloud over boxing once again when this comes out.
