Well I love to see Mosley vs Pacquiao happens if ever Mosley successfully defeats Berto and the negotiation between Pacquiao and Mayweather didn't make any progress also.

Williams is not at Weltwerweight and hasnt fought at Welterweight since he beat Quintana in a rematch and probably would be weight drained after two years of not making 147. We have to be practicial with our thoughts and comments. People can say Shane is ducking Paul Williams but the reality is, Paul Williams is a new comer to the top of this sport. Besides, he is not invincible as some may think, he has been outboxed by Quintana of all people. Williams is good but he isnt great. He beat Margarito, which is a good win, but other than that, he hasnt beat any of the top 154's or middleweights yet, so the verdict is still out on him being a great fighter in a position to demand fights.

Williams still claims he can easily make 147. He walks around at about 160. He weighed in at like 156 for the Winky fight, if I remember correctly. Shane was outboxed by Winky Wright, who Paul dominated easily. So what? Guys have bad nights. Quintana isn't on Paul's level, and everyone who knows boxing would agree. If Shane is claiming that a win over Margarito makes him the best Welterweight, then Paul has the same claims. Bottom line.

come on! he didn't wait two days after the cotto-pacquiao fight and announce he's fighting berto. listen to uncle Bob's ranting about this moronic move.. berto will clean him and he lost his last best payday in a fight with Manny.

I think Williams can still make 147lbs but after moving to 156lbs he will have a hard time making weight with his size and height.

He will maybe make 147lbs but I think he will be weight drain just like Oscar who fought Manny at 147lbs.

mosleys just a hater. he had numerous shot at floyd and he passed. shane v mosley just not in as high demand as floyd v catchweight champion. who can blame floyd for going after the catchweight champion of the world.

Mosley is getting older. He'll be fighting with a cane before he can clean the division. With all due respect, I think Mosley's win against Margarito is a bit overrated IMHO. Think of it. If you were Margarito going into a fight where you know that win or lose everybody is going to be hating your ass and that the fight might be your last because you just got f***in busted cheating, would you still worry about the fight? And if you're Mosley and you know that you had just taken away the most valuable weapon your opponent has in the fight, would you go psycho in his ass knowing that he is not going to hurt you? I love Mosley, but I've got a feeling that he is not gonna look good in his fight with Berto.

Coming from 1 of the Punishers biggest fans on here,I prefer to see the Punisher rid us of Pavlik than fight Mosley,just saying!!But fight fans need to realize that Sugar Shane has fought more elite fighters at 147-154 than any other fighter fighting since the fab 4,true story!!Matter of fact,after he fights Berto,the only elite fighters that he wouldn't have faced are the Punisher,Pacman & floyd,show the man some respect!!

the guy that said these welterweights need to fight each other like the 80's fighters is exactly right. i think if manny and floyd happens shane needs to fight cotto after he beats berto then when he beats him fight the winner of pac vs floyd. if paul wiliams can prove he is still a welter weight he needs to fight there (dude is not a welter).
