Mosley: 'I'm Going To Clean Out The Welterweight Division'

WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley is on a mission to clean out the welterweight division. He feels that he started the process with his dominating knockout of Antonio Margarito at the start of the year. On January 23, he faces undefeated WBC champion Andre Berto in a unification bout. He plans to fight at welterweight for another three to four years and his goal is to beat every major name at the weight. [details]

I wish Sugar Shane nothing but the best of luck. I want to see him fight my boy Paul Williams.

Also I'd like to see Mayweather, Pac, Cotto II, and Clottey

Fantastic !!! This is what boxing NEEDS !! Mosley has always had that game heart to face all comers,,,,, I hope him the best, I hope he KO's Berto and begins to clean up the WW's.

We don't know if the Mayweather vs Pacmang fight will take place but and if it does, Mosley can clean Mayweathers clock after Pacmang cleans it real gooooooooooood and warms up that head.

Mosley can whup all the WW's but Pacmang. A fight with Pacmang will be Pacs toughest fight due to the fact Mosley is a game bulldawg. You'll have to kill every hair on him and he'll still keep coming. Mosley would make Mayweather Cry like a baby, make him run to his mommy.

I love it ,,,,,,,,,,gooooooooooooo Mosley !!!!!!!!

Back in the 80's, we had 4 great warrios in Leonard, Duran, Hagler, and Hearns. WOuldn't it be great if the top 4 welterweights all fought each other. If the first fight is close, maybe even twice then. I mean imagine Mosley at 147 fight Mayweather, Pac and Cotto again. Imagine Mayweather at 147 figthing Pac, Mosley and Cotto. Imagine Cotto at 147 figthing Mayweather, Pac (at full strength), and Mosley again. And of course, Pac fighting all those guys at 147. That would give boxing 2-3 of its best years with all 4figthers making enoughmoney to be satisfied. The biggest obstacle: Convincing Floyd that a loss against an elite welterweight is nothing to be ashamed of if you're beating the other guys. Both Arum and Golden Boy would have a piece of these fights so everybody would be happy. Williams can clean out 154 and 160. Or if Mayweather retires, you substitute him for PWill.
