Before Pac became a boxer, he was in the streets fighting for survival.

in real fighting (street fight) the first strike is usually the most important...

You have got to be kidding? I don't even watch MMA like that and know that in a street fight, BJ Penn would win. He'd just take Pac to the ground and submit his ass! I bet most of you haven't even been in a real street fight. Someone before me mentioned footwork...yeah right!!! BJ would charge or go low, take him to the ground, his special move. I'm sure most of you think Pacquiao could out wrestle a tiger.

Nope, if the stand up fighter doesn't know how to defend correctly against a takedown, good luck striking an eye or the groin, because the shot is going to be too fast to time. A wrestler doesn't stand up when he shoots in so how exactly are you going to land that big knockout shot? I know were supposed to be talking about a streetfight. But, lets take a step back for a moment and talk about it in an MMA context. The pure stand up fighter vs. the wrestler. Almost everytime the stand up fighter gets his ass kicked. Its no contest. Don't believe me, go into a wresting gym and try to stop his takedown while your attempting to punch his face, its not going to happen.

Not to mention what happens in a boxing match when the fighters are clinching? Its broken up by the ref. Why? Because boxes can't fight in the freaking clinch hahaha. Come on peeps, I like Pac as much as the next not too crazy Pac fun, but the hype with this guy is getting out of hand. What's next he's a better golfer than Tiger Woods?

Yes it does, Pacquiao's footspeed comes from his athleticism. Natural athletes like him Mosley or prime RJJ are harder to takedown because of their reflexes, they don't stay flat footed. If BJ. rushes in tryin to get him down, Pacquiao would still have a big chance to take him out with one punch.
Plus BJ. is not a very good wrestler, he has great flexibility but doesn't have a great shot.

I'm a big BJ.Penn fan but you have to understand that in a(bare nuckles) street fight against Pacquiao, BJ. could get KOed before it hits the ground. Look at what he can do with 10 ounces gloves, and look at his shadow boxing.

we are talking street fight here, where there are no rules, I am sure PAC living in the streets during his youth made him tougher and learn how to survive, for sure he knows how to play dirty when needed...

maybe on a mma fight PAC wont know what to do but on the street in a real fight, he has basic natural instict how to survive and live to fight another day, I dont see anyone his size beating him on the streets ...
