I think either Jirov or Byrd should fight Zsolt Erdie.

In case you didn't know Zsolt won the WBC CW title this past Saturday.....so now he has a whole new weightclass of fighters he can duck, like Cunningham, Flores, Godfrey. Maybe he would be willing to fight past prime CWs like Chris Byrd or Vassily Jirov. He probably doesn't have the stones to do it but if he did he would get stretched by Jirov and taken to school by Byrd I think.
It seems at this point that he is content with taking the Ottke route in his career though

Erdei is a good boxer and plenty tough but you're right he did fight the weakest cruiserweight.

Even he admits he doesn't want the challenge of being the best.

I admire that refreshing honesty actually.

Didn't see Byrd's last fight, but he's probably done after that dehydration fight.

If Jirov still has a great chin, he dould very well take Erdei's title. Zsolt weighed in only a couple pounds over the light heavyweight limit, whoever fights him will have a 20 pound weight advantage.

Erdei's decent, but not enough to consistently get away with giving 20 pounds.

A serious cruiserweight puncher like Guellerimo Jones would **** him up beyond belief, so he's being safe and smart.

I think he's too small for cruiserweight and he went twelve hard rounds with a light punching forty year old.

I think Erdei is better off at 175, but he's officially let go of his WBO strap.

Damn, I like watching Guillermo fight. Throws an insane amount of punches (especially for a cruiser) with good power and solid chin. The man is a beast.

DK is a trash promoter now, Jones has to suffer cuz of it. Wasted talent right there.

It's more like someone who just wants to keep their job be it white collar or blue collar, and not get fired trying to be a hero.
