    What If Floyd Did This?

    Would you be upset if the fight gets officialy announced for May 1st by Arum, Schaffer, and whoever but at the same time Floyd announces that he is going to have a fight in England on HBO or National TV in January to stay sharp? Would people get upset if the Pac fight is already signed, you know Floyd has no chance of losing to this other guy, its not PPV or if it is then its something very cheap.

    Think about this. People are worried and calling it a punk move but Floyd isnt dumb. He's not going to fight anyone else until he has that Pac fight signed because if he takes another fight then Arum wont give Floyd the numbers he wants. If he fights Salita on PPV then there is no way it does a mil and if he fights him on HBO then Arum will say that he's not a PPV star. Floyd wont do that. If he takes another fight then its only going to be after the Pac fight is signed. What could hurt by him doing this? I mean you guys do have to cut him some slack and realize that he's been gone for 2 years and will be 33 soon so one fight may not be good enough. If Pac wanted it in March then it would be different but if they are talking May and he wants something else before then, what is the problem? I think it will only add exposure, e****aly if its a non PPV thing. I beleive Floyd does genuinely want to fight overseas.

    At the end of the day I dont see any of this happening and Ellerbe keeps saying that its not true but even if he did, I wouldnt get upset about it. Its not like they dont want the Pac fight. It will still go on. The only thing that would make me really mad and why I dont want it is because I think he will look so good again that alot of people will start picking him over Pac, call it a joke fight, and the odds will swing heavy in Floyds favor. I will be betting alot on Floyd so I dont want that to happened

    They should have no reason to be mad. He will still be signed to face Pacquiao, so people would have no reason to get mad say he faced a south paw between those 6 months.

      Almost everyone would be mad, because they wouldn't understand.

        No.....

        Only if his opponents are either;

        Collazo

        Quintana

        Ortiz

        Valero*

        *Afraid Jr. wishes he has the balls to face V-Nom.

        If he picks some no hoper or some young green young buck with a flashy record he will get publicly roasted......

        Not the funny one you see on comedy central.

                I wouldn't care. Boxers should fight more often anyway.

                  I say Floyd should of fought Mosley right off the bat, if he would of won a fight like that and take the Pac fight right after, then this fight would be up there with hearns/lenord.

                    It make sense to stay busy before the biggest money making fight of your career, but they're gonna hate Mayweather no matter what he does.
