  • Whats is wrong with Tyson's managers?

The people that are managing Tyson seem like they're either totally clueless about boxing or are just leeching off of Tyson's name or don't give 2 ****s about what happens to him. Tyson is now fighting Mcbride who is not good by any means, but the guy is 6'6....he's huge compared to Tyson. I know Tyson can usually chops down taller fighters, but doesn't it come to a point where some people are just too big to handle no matter how skilled you are? If they are trying to get Tyson's name back in the picture, why are they matching him up with people that are over a half a foot taller than him? I think they should match him up with fighters fairly close to his size.

they're hoping this gets him ready for Vitali

It should help. I mean, its Kevin McBride. He's not THAT much worse than Vitali. j/k

This is a good opponent for Tyson to beat up on. He's always going to be fighting a taller guy. That's all Tyson's ever had, so that's no problem. He'd probably struggle more with a shorter guy than a taller one actually.

Maybe because the current heavyweight champ is 6'6"?

I can understand that Tyson was always the smaller guy but mostly by like 3 inches or so. Now he's fighting guys like Lewis 6'5, Williams 6'6, and now Mcbride 6'6. I know Mcbride is a pancake but his size could be a problem even though I know Tyson will beat him.

im not really lookin forward to this fight even though im a huge tyson fan. tyson should be able to handle mcbride quite easily and if he doesnt then he should call it quits. im just curious to see how long it takes him to fight again. ive heard that fenech said that if tyson wins he wants to fight again in august, if thats the case then i will believe this whole tyson come back. if it takes 11 months to fight again this whole thing is a joke and a waste of time.

Golota, Holmes, Tucker were all tall. I don't think it really matters. Tyson of old would of course beat pretty much anybody regardless of size.
