Would the outcome be different had Miguel employed a "Calderun" tactic against PAC?!

I mean throughout the fight, no toe-to-toe at any point. Or would PAC eventually gets to him? I saw Cotto started pure boxing in the 7th, by that time though PAC had him figured out like a Rubik's cube by a geek...

I don't think Cotto has the stamina to make it a track meet throughout 12 rounds, and Pac would've cut the ring off to catch him and slow him down.

Pac just wasn't interested chasing him down in their fight because he didn't have to. Cotto was already weakened and wasn't doing much except some token offense. All Pac had to do was walk him down and let Cotto move on his bike for a while until he tires, and then proceed with administering the beatdown.

Cotto can't fight like calderon. But I think he would've been better off trading less, staying behind the jab and basically trying to do what he did for round 1. He probably still would have lost due to the speed and in and out movement, especially in the rounds Pac wanted to step it up. But there's a good chance he would've taken less damage and made the full 12.
