Had been following Mayol for awhile now but the fight against Calderon and Sosa are the only ones with headclash that i know off.

Mayol had his feet planted and was in the process of throwing a right hook to the body. it does look as if it was wreckless but if you watch the replay you can see that Sosa was jumping in. Sosa initiated contact and because he was jumping in he caused the damage. it would not have changed anything anyway, Mayol would have ended Sosa a few rounds later for sure. Dum jose sulaiman is an idiot for saying it was a blatant headbutt!!

Yes, in different angles of replay shown Mayol has nothing to sorry for or intentionally done it...He's actually in the process of punching that landed at the side while Sosa on the other hand was seen Mayol coming and tried to hold but instead they clash their heads on the process....

the replay clearly showed sosa was the one who moved forward to bump mayol who was in steady feet.. that was sosa's fault and the point deduction was definitely wrong..

Yes, the fact that the fight was in Mexico & Sosa as the champion they over reacted w/ the situation to make some excuses....

Mayol is a headbutting machine, but tha's due to his style, that wasn't intentional. At the moment of the headbutt he was dominating Sosa as Sosa seemed intimidated though.

Sulaiman did not say it was intentional but he wanted to state it seems interntional in the first glance but after studying the video footages, it wasn't.
