but do you guys remember that after Cotto-Margaputo everyone including myself thought that margaputo couldn't be hurt, and that his chin was superb, because he walked through Cotto's punches, and boy did we overlook the possibility of anyone hurting him

My question is are we doing the same with Manny? I hear everyone saying Manny is going to walk through May's punches, but is it possible that May will outbox Manny, and land a significant amount of punches while Manny is coming in, which could accumulate to a lot of flush punches landed on Manny, and in the end end up knocking him out?

The difference is Manny actually has a defence. Margarito defence was eating punches, Mayweather isn't a combination puncher and Manny isn't Artuno Gatti, if Mayweather wins it'll be a decision or a TKO (on cuts if Manny gets cut)

Manny could be hurt with too many hard shots over time.. If he keeps walking forward, and Floyd just keeps countering, that might take a toll.

I doubt there is even a knockdown in this fight though.

If Pacquiao cant see the punches attacking him, than theres no doubt that Pacquiao can handle Mayweather's punches. Since he became welter-weight he never do more than 2 combos per punching so its simple to see it.
