This is such BS. If Pac was a black, but had the same career and humbleness, Americans would love him more but wouldn't get as much exposure as Tiger Woods and Kobe Bryant. We put athletes like that on a pedestal despite their arrogance. It's the reason why guys like Michael Vick and Shawn Merriman get more media attention than clean-cut guys like Lebron James and Ladainian Tomlinson. America may not love guys like Vick, but controversy sells in America.
As far as Floyd, if he was Filipino, but was arrogant and had the same career, Filipinos would probably still love him, but he definitely wouldn't have as many fans. Americans would probably hate him more because now he's foreign, and I think Americans give him some slack now because he is one of the few top American names in their prime.
Floyd loves to play the race card when it comes to his short comings which is total nonsense. Black fighters like Mosley, Williams, and others get praised because they will fight anyone. It's the year 2009, we have a black president, black attorney general, black people excel in business, sports, music, as well as acting so don't give me that bull**** that a black man can't get fair shot. The Jack Johnson-Joe Louis days are over.
