thanks mang jr ... ya i was at the first fight too when i was a bigger andrade fan ... now i've become this big bute fan and it just kinda snuck up on me.

the doods got a great skillset, speed hand and foot, combos great movement ... i really like bute now. i think i'd be pretty disappointed if he were to lose cause theres some great matchups in the future for him if he keeps winning.

Lame. Will Canadians still get to see Pascal vs Diaconu II on ESPN360.com? That will be a huge fight in Canada aswell.

And this is a prime example why boxing needs to stop having the biggest fights in Vegas. You can sell more tickets in other cities and give your sport more exposure by having bigger events land some else than Vegas. Yes, I know casinos fork over dough but in the long run it would be better to branch out. Take for example Winky V Williams. Why the f did you have that in Vegas? You sold 2000 damn tickets. Put that **** in one of there home towns and I would bet the house you get a hell of a lot more than 2000 paid tickets.

Boxing is has always been huge in the province of québec. Now that we have some local fighters doing well just shows that, but in the past it was still insanely popular, even for fights between local fighter.

I wanted to get tickets to saturday's fight but it was indeed sold out very fast.

Canada always had a good boxing fan base. But also in sports in general they are very supportive of their teams. I guess if it keeps on going well that market might open up in the comming years. We don't have those fights in the Blue Horizon any more or in Philly for that matter.

Quebec, not Canada, i live in Toronto, and the sport is dead here, besides the pac/cotto fight its almost impossible to go to bar to watch hbo/showtime boxing.
Quebec has a very solid fan base though.
