if Roger Mayweather goes to jail and unable to train Floyd

If Roger Mayweather is found guilty of battery, locked up, and is unable to train Floyd, how will this affect Floyd's training?

It won't... Floyd trains himself and Sr. can work the mitts.

It's no big deal at all imo.

Floyd will probably train himself. I doubt seeing Floyd Sr. training his son. That's the reason why their relationship broke apart in the first place. Floyd Sr. may help his son with the mitts though.

Maybe he can work as a cheerleader, that was his job for the Cotto fight. "We're here with you! We're here with you!"

I think Floyd Sr will take over. Sr actually was training him for his fight with Oscar while Roger was appealing his ban on the Zab Judah incident. When he reinstated, Roger took over again. Floyd Sr says he doesn't care about training his son but I gurarantee if Jr went with someone else and not him, there'd be some tension and hurt feelings.

Santiago gets too much hate for that fight. He tried to get Cotto to listen.

"Stay with the jab, it's working, don't fight his fight"

Cotto didn't listen. By the time he was making comments like the one you say, Cotto was in survival mode.

                  1) I haven't seen a Jollibee sign in a long time.

                  2) Roger should be able to postpone any jail time until after the fight...no? When is his court date?

                    That seems odd.

I thought that Ellerbe trained Floyd for the Baldomir fight...and Roger was back waaay before the Oscar fight six months later.

Oscar and Zab were a year apart. No? Please refresh me.....
