Pac has been headlining even before he hit mainstream with the oscar & hattonfights.

Take away that theater fake bull**** ppv afraid jr. vs marquez does less than 1 mill.
take away oscar and pacman wont have any numbers either..oscar took floyd and manny both to that next level..stop your blind hating you sound dumb

Highly biased, selfish, & unreasonable dom if you & Afraid Mayweather jr. take that stance & reasoning. Trust me the fight wont get made that way.
Mayweather was the number 1 P4P at the time he faced Oscar. Why didn't Mayweather get the larger split? Simple, because PPV history has shown Oscar was the much bigger draw. All that stuff your mention has ZERO, zero to do with the split.

      ZERO.

Along with the fact that when afraid jr. fought oscar & hatton it was during much much better economic time than when pac fought them in the middle of a bad recession.

Golden Boy already stated the theater were not included in JMM-Pbf numbers.

Floyd also fought JMM in a bad economic recession in a so called mismatch and done 1 million PPV numbers,

THAT WAS OSCAR. AFRAID MAYWEATHER JR. WILL NEVER BE OSCAR. NO ONE WILL.

Pac drawing 1mil ppv 2x plus his legacy, resume & standing doesnt matter in negotiations? ok brah. sure.

Of course, it doesn't. Legacy doesn't matter when making the purse. PPV numbers do. Since Floyd done better numbers against similar opponents he is entitled to the larger cut. Pacman should be happy with 40% IMO

              1. No way of knowing what Mayweather could have done against Cotto.

              2. We know Mayweather has outsold Pacquiao with the same 3 opponents, JMM, Hatton and Oscar.

              3. The theater numbers weren't even counted.

              4. The fact that a match seen as competitive outsold a mismatch by 100K ain't nothing to brag about.

Getsum, You're smarter then that. Be real man, none of that has anything to do with a split.

Weren't Floyd's fights with Hatton and DLH 2-3 years ago? Didn't his fight with JMM happen less than 4 months ago and do less than Cotto/Pac?

                      And what is your point??

It did 150k less. Arum said anything less than 1.6 million is disappointing. So those numbers were and are disappointing.

A simple fact, that is hard to swallow. With similar opponents Floyd will always outsell Pacman
