By Jake Donovan - Though brothers by blood, Librado Andrade and Enrique Ornelas claim to be individuals once they step into the ring.
Yet as often as they travel different paths, a recurring theme surfaces in their respective careers roughly around the same time: hitting the road in search of upsetting the odds.
For the second time in 13 months, the Mexican-born, California-raised duo fight just days apart in separate locations, each once again playing the role of underdog.
Andrade (28-2, 21KO) heads to Canada for the third time in as many fights, where he will meet undefeated super middleweight titlist Lucian Bute. The bout, a highly anticipated rematch to their controversy-riddled first fight last October, airs live from the Pepsi Centre in Quebec City (Saturday, HBO, 10PM ET/PT).
Four days later, Ornelas (29-5, 19KO) fittingly enough heads to the City of Brotherly Love. Awaiting him in what represents by far the biggest fight of career will be Philadelphia’s own Bernard Hopkins in the headlining act at the Liacouras Center (Wednesday, VERSUS 8PM ET). [details]
