The WBA Will Never Let Haye Unify

Haye fans keep insisting that his blatant ducking of Vitali was in the interest of gaining an important bargaining chip.

The WBA meanwhile has responded by forcing him to fight Ruiz, and though they did not order an interim bout, it is clear the WBA is gonna insist on Haye fighting the winner of an elimination bout or a rematch with Valuev. Considering Haye's level of activity that will take about a year minimum.

No matter how you look at it the WBA is not likely to allow Haye to unify his title. Their history over the past 3 years shows that.

Considering that neither Klitschko would ever defend the WBA belt and would be trying to get it for the sake of simply owning it you have to think the WBA will frown on sacrificing it to Klitschko when they will end up having to organize a mediocre fight for their now Vacant title 3 months later.

If Haye ever wants to fight a Klitschko (LOL, yeah right, I know) then he will have to give up his so called bargaining chip and hope the Klits are nice enough to give him 35%

This is easy, fight Ruiz and then he will have time to unify against either Klit and fight a mandatory in the same time!!!!!!

Contractually he owes Valuev a rematch. If Valuev says the word Haye has no choice but to waste his optional defense on The Beast.

Plus, as I said above, the WBA would be left without a champion and would be made to look like a scrub belt. I don't think they will put themselves out their like that when they can mandate Haye's opposition.

Only because Don King has a stranglehold on them and refuses to let the division where he makes the most money go.

WBA is actually one of the best divsions to unify with because they're the most corrupt and have multiple titles in divisions. Just look at the Super 6 and the proposed 140 tourney, the titleholders being talked about are with the WBA and WBC.

Don King fighters will keep getting title shots until he wants though.

Is the WBA gonna allow their belt to be unified knowing it is just going to be immediately dumped?

Having their champion KO'ed by Klitschko decreases his earning power and the WBA loses the only chance they have at getting big sanctioning fees from a popular fighter.

He owes Valuev a rematch, but its no immediate nor does it have to be for the title.

He has time to fight Ruiz and a Klitschko by the time the rematch has to happen. The WBA can't do anything since its a voluntary defense. Some its up to the Klitschko belts holders, I know the WBC are open to a unification not sure about the WBO or IBF though since Wlad has to fight Chambers and Povetkin in the next year.

If a unification fight takes place it will be Haye-Vitali

What is the exact language of the Valuev rematch clause???

Cause you are talking like you know the exact details.

Also, why the hell would Valuev wait to enforce his rematch clause when he runs the risk of Haye losing and the fight not even being for a title??

That's just ******ed and there is zero chance Valuev lets Haye jeopardize the belt and Valuev's ability to get it back and make money in the process.

Haye will fight Ruiz in April-May. Then Valuev will exercise his right to a rematch and Haye will have to fight him in November-December. By that time The WBA will have mandated that Haye challenge somebody else or be stripped.

Face it, Haye will never unify this belt under these circumstances.

Because Haye said so himself, he said he has time to make a mandatory defence and a voluntary defence before Valuev. It was on a report here, just dig around. I remember reading it.

I'm not attacking you, I'm just going off what I've read.

Well I am going off reality, and not what David Haye says, as his public statements are rarely truthful and/or realistic.
