well i was born in the US and my dad is cuban and mom is from PR. But i still hated Trinidad, like how they worshipped him like a god. I always thought he was overrated and bad footwork. In addition, i was working in a law office and had some PR co-workers pick on me due to being cuban. I was very happy Hopkins won, anyway i was born in the US and put America first.

I am a boxing fan first. Generally, i do root for american fighters against any other country. Its sad because one of my uncles was an amateur fighter in cuba and he tells me of all these great cuban figthers as Kid Gavlian, Kid Chocalate, Jose Napoles but due to the blockade many great Cuban fighters haven't been allowed to fight here unless they defected. So we have only a handful of names as Joel Casamayor and the recent success of Yuriokis Gamboa. Being from Venezuela you probably know that he defected from Cuba in venezuela. Poor Gamboa had to sale his gold medal he won in the Athens Olympics to make money.
