I can understand the fanaticism of most of Manny's fans, and it's because it's been a long while since a top athlete from Philippines dominated in a sport and was loved by his country.

But, some of his fans take it just a bit too far.

Reminds me of the Hatton fans who were wild about Ricky and his performances up to the point of facing Mayweather. And Ricky was undefeated at the time, so that made it even more intriguing.

I think it's when the athlete is no longer dominant and on the decline that the fanfare dies down.

It's all good. A Pacquiao-Mayweather bout looms on the horizon and it hints at being the fight of the decade, so emotions will be running higher as it gets closer.

The rivalry will be heated and intense. And that should make for a super exciting night of pure boxing.

It's great to be a *******, at least we have a fighter that can back us up. No disrespect but Gayweather has nothing gong for the *****s. Gayweather is very talented but he always let his fans down by ducking the best...someone his own size that's in the top 2 LOL. It a shame that our hero boxer have to be the one to step in to fght Cotto because your so call GOAT keep ducking him.

Yeah....Manny Pacquaio is a great fighter but his fans tend to get a little bit over board sometimes and a little annoying. That's all I want to say. lol
