You do realize hopkins was 40 years old against taylor and 42 years old against Calzaghe right?

He was an all time great before those fights you ******.

He has a solid resume until his move up to LHW and I will say that he clearly lost to Joe and don't see what anyone is debating about in that fight.

Why does it even matter if he did lose clearly? He was 42 years old who clearly slowed down and joe had an extremely high work rate. 40+ year olds will forever struggle with guys with tremendous work rates (which is why hopkins was the underdog going into the fight and the fight played out exactly as the "experts predicted" (that being it would be a close/competitive fight but the younger calzaghe would win on points do to a high work rate)).

No they don't. I've never heard anyone say Hopkins was in his prime at 40 years old. That's logically impossible.

Cause he couldnt have been when he fought Roy...right? haha
Huh? They fought what, 16 years ago? Both were green fighters. And so what if Roy beat hopkins, I thought Roy Jones was god on this website? Isn't roy jones "the greatest fighter of the 90's???" Well, wasn't that the 90's?

My god people, stop acting like a bunch of ******s, please.

Younger Hopkins was great to watch. His beating of Johnson, for example. Dude was on fire. He changed his style somewhat a few years ago and had a few stinkers, but so what. Look at the Pavlik fight, that was a great performance, especially considering his age. Give old 'Nard a break, he's been great for the sport and deserves respect.

His loss to Joie doesn't count, because he was old.

On Joes Resume it actually says

                    Hopkins - Old
