I thought he had potential as a welterweight but as he has gotten older he has started to regress in my opinion. I know he's only 23 and had no amature career but even I who used to be a staunch supporter of Junior has come to the conclusion that

A. He's not very good or

B. His father and trainer are too ****** to see that he should not be trained to fight like his dad when he is so tall and lankey.


He should be trained to fight like a Kelly Pavlik who uses his frame and size to stay on the outside so all all his punches land at the end of his reach. Instead they have him fighting like a face first boxer and he gets hit way to much. It also wouldn't hurt to have him fight someone of substance.
