It's Paul Williams fault that he can't get...

    big fights!!!

If he and his ****head promoter would grow up and actually fight in divisions where his opponents are actually his size he would have no problem getting his big fights. He should be in the Super Six tournament but instead he's sitting on his ass calling out Floyd. He should of fought Pavlik 2 years ago but instead he fought Verno Phillips and 50 year old winky wright in an empty arena for peanuts. He should be in the running to fight Bernard Hopkins but instead he's fighting Sergio Martinez a non draw that could actually beat him.

I say *** Paul Williams and I hope he rots in obscurity. If he wants a career fighting little people he can join a wrestling league in Mexico and fight 5 midgets at a time like Andre the Giant used to back in the day.

But seriously, I think what you're saying is true. The size and reach difference is just too much for the lower divisions. He has the reach of a heavyweight, such as Lewis. That's a 15" reach advantage over someone like Pacquiao! LOL.

People often bring the argument about there being no height classes in boxing, which is true of course, but sometimes you gotta stop and realize that his advantages over pretty much everyone at WW are crazy, and it's no wonder very few people want to fight him. Paul should stick to 154 at the very least, IMO.

He just tried to fight Pavlik, a fighter that's his size. Now he's fighting Martinez, what else should he do? Plus its bull**** that people claim he's to big, if he can make the weight then he should be able to fight WW. Seems like people look at his height and assume he's to big, what exactly should the height limit be for WW?

Man, this hate that you are spewing is nonsense. Paul Williams has done all the right things where trying to make fights with top fighters happen. The one thing you do have right is the fact that he didn't fight Pavlik last year and backed out of the negotiations before Pavlik went on to lose to Hopkins. But the fact that he had the stones to fight Margarito in Cali in front of all those Mexicans warrants praise. And another question. How can he fight in the super six when he is contracted by HBO? You are talking out of your ass dude.

Whats wrong with him trying to clean out 147, then followed by 154 and 160? Why can't he do what every other fighter in recent history has tried to do because he is 6'2 cmon give me a break this is one of the worst threads I've ever seen.

I think it's bull**** that Pwill and all his fans say that everyone is scared of him. He's scared to fight someone his own size, it's not fair for someone like mosley or berto to have to fight a guy a foot taller than them. He's pickin on smaller guys and tryin to act like they're scared of him, If pwill is so bad why don't he stop eatin tic tacs to make smaller weights and fight someone his own size. He's 6'1, he could easily fill into 160 or 168 and fight guys like B-Hop, AA, Kessler, JT etc... Hell go fight Dawson, WTF you doin callin out Mosley.

You are missing the point!! Sure he can make the weight but that still doesn't take away all his size advantages that naturally make him a Middleweight. What welterweight wants to fight a Middle/super middle weight just because he has a great metabolisim. He's always gonna be frozen out of the Welterweight division so he should just accept it and move on to bigger divisions where he will actually fight other large fighters.

All I'm saying is if Paul Williams is so great why arn't his fans clammering for any other Middleweight or Supermiddleweight thats actually his size. Why does it "HAVE TO BE" a welter weight? Are you afraid he will get exposed when he isn't fighting a 5ft 6in midget? Next you guys are gonna want him to fight Marquez!!

Margarito deserves more credit for having the balls to fight someone so much bigger than him and as far as him fighting in front of all those Mexican well thats because Paul Williams is not a draw. How can I credit Williams for having no fans that would actually pay money to see him fight??

And what moves has he made to make big fights? Challanging fighters that are 4 inces shorter than him?

                  That's funny.

He's more like 6'3", btw. No way is he 6'1".

For the record, I like Williams. No hate here.
