    Have a card something like

    Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao

    Georges St. Pierre vs Anderson Silva

    Wlad Klitschko vs Vitali Klitschko

    Brock Lesnar vs Fedor

    Miguel Cotto vs Antonio Margarito

    You get the idea. Have some how you conglomerate this in some way to promote both sports. I think it would be HUGE and could break records
    Fernando Vargas has been going around doing some mixed promotions.

          the only big ppv events were Hatton/Pacquiao , Mayweather/Marquez, Pacquiao, Cotto...

          those add up to 3.5 mill buys

          UFC has events coming out every 2 weeks averaging 600,000 buys.....idiot
          They average MUCH less that 600,000 the buys in the top 10 average 600,000.

          There are still UFC PPVS that do only 300,000 etc. Its not lie they are making more money overall because they are bring out PPVs every two weeks but thats precisely the reason. They cater to their fans, which will by UFC ppvs no matter what.

          Q3
          UFC 103 (Franklin vs. Belfort) Dallas
          UFC 102 (Nogueira vs. Couture) Portland
          UFC 101 – 900,000 (Penn vs. Florian) Philadelphia
          UFC 100 - 1,720,000 (Lesnar vs. Mir II) Vegas
          Average through two events = 1,310,000 buys

          Q2
          UFC 99 - 360,000 (Franklin vs. W. Silva) Cologne, Germany
          UFC 98 - 635,000 (Evans vs. Machida) Vegas
          UFC 97 - 625,000 (A. Silva vs. Leites) Montreal, Quebec
          Average = 540,000 buys

          Q1
          UFC 96 - 350,000 (Jackson vs. Jardine) Columbus
          UFC 95 - free TV (Sanchez vs. Stevenson) London
          UFC 94 - 800,000 (St. Pierre vs. Penn) Vegas
          UFC 93 - 320,000 (Henderson vs. Franklin) Dublin, Ireland
          Average = 490,000 buys

          so overall thats about 750,000 per PPV over 11 events

          Pacquiao-Cotto - 1,250,000
          Mayweather - Marquez - 1,000,000
          Pacquiao - Hatton - 850,000
          Haye - Valuev - 800,000-900,000 approx. according to sky (UK only)

          Average of 990,000 per PPV over 4 events.

          Thats all I can really remember in boxing, there aren't as many PPVs (which IMO is great for boxing fans) and they average far more across the board. I know that Vitali - Arreola got the highest ratings for a HBO boxing event this year (it was free) with something like 4 million viewers
