roy jones should have gone with king or arum.

they would have made him superstars.

once you're a superstar then you can go at it alone (delahoya , mayweather , etc.)

This list is disingenuous at best.

First off, why just mention the top 12 PPV of all time? Like when did we stop keeping track of anything after 12?

The reason why there aren’t 15 of what have you is so Floyd will only appear on the list once. The reason why there aren’t just 10 is so Pacquiao wouldn’t appear on the list just once. You put just 12 and forget the Top 10 and forget 15 and Manny tops Mayweather’s PPV numbers.

I give Manny all the credit for what he has accomplished. However, why do you have to discredit Mayweather to Big up Pacquiao? I don’t get it.

The source is a Manny Pacquiao Website for goodness sake.

You guys know exactly what you trying to do and it’s pretty lame. It’s a shame people here can see pass the complexity or their own hate to notice it.

            Tua,

To be fair, it wasn't necessarily the worst idea to have Jones and Floyd on WCB. In truth, Floyd , for examplke, was making PPV-ish type money since he was on B.A.D. While Arum didn't make him a superstar, Floyd made way - WAAY - more money that his commercial presence deserved. Or justified. Arum didn't do bad by Floyd.

If you can get $4 million to fight the Corleys and Bruseles' and Sharmbas on WCB, why do you care about PPV? Ya know? Heck, I betcha Shane isn't getting near that for Berto. What was Cotto's guarantee for Firepower?

Back then, Floyd had a highly inflated sense of his $$ worth. Today, he is dead-on.

Platinum equals a million, right? I heard there was a little fight back in Sept that sold 1.1 million.

well they were well paid. i'm speaking more for roy. roy's career could have been handled better if he wasn't promoting himself.

i think arum handled floyd's career real well.
