amazed that no-one can respond to this thread and simply accepts that Haye`s actions should be rewarded with the Heavyweight belt -
Haye would of thrown more and still won a UD.
He was over cautious, and could of boxed Valuev more, throwing the occasional jab wouldnt of hurt. He was just waiting to land the big KO punch, and broke his hand.
Valuev couldnt catch him either way.Comment

Haye broke his right hand early on. He had to fight even more cautiously than planned.
He would have won by KO if he pushed the fight more, but there is nothing illegal about a gameplan.Comment

Haye outboxed him, there are no rules that say you have to throw X amount of punches per round, or finish the fight with your face smashed in.
And going by what happened in the 12th Haye would probably have KO'd Valuev had he started letting punches go earlier. I notice you purposely didn't include that option.Comment
