That logic has a lot of holes in it.

Look I'm just stating an opinion. Toney is way above his natural fighting weight, he's injury prone (probably because of the weight) and we're talking about his chances of KOing or at least beating Wlad, who has every physical advantage as well as youth on Toney. Toney, from what I've seen, likes to counter on the inside, which requires a cooperative opponent to stay close to him. How is he going to walk Wlad down, as hard as his jab is, get on the inside, and then what? KO Wlad when he couldn't KO Jirov, even with multiple punches landed right on the chin? And even if he does make Wlad miss with the Jab early, he's going to tire badly just like in the Booker fight, he's going to slow down, and start getting hit, etc.

This one is much better. I can understand a lot of what you're saying. It'd be another massive physical mismatch, and Toney would have to find somehow find his way inside, and keep ****ing on Wlads ribs. If the fight went past 6-7 and Toney wasn't too badly beaten to do something like Williams was against Vitali, then he could definitely use his experience and Wlads inconsistent stamina to take him into deep water. Also, Jirov had an excellent chin at cruiser and Toney had him ****ed at the end of the fight, but I agree it's unlikely that Toney would KO him unless Wlad got tired again or unless Toney hit him with a monsterous shot...and then followed up with many good punches.

Yeah, since the Brewster fight, Wlad's stamina has become a big question mark, maybe Toney could run him out of gas, you never know lol
