I think Primo Carnera's legacy is based largely on his huge size - he wasn't exactly a great boxer but every boxing fan knows of him. I guess Valuev is probably in the same boat - not a great boxer but everyone knows who he is and probably will for some time.Comment

Valuev will be immediately forgotten upon retirement. He will have no ticker tape parade, no HOF induction, no... he will fade into a big ass horizon and be forgotten like all average fighters with average performances should beComment

Valuev wouldn't be boxing if he was 6 foot, he brings nothing. He is much less athletic than haye n the klits, has less power, less speed and no technique either. He is one of the poorest world champs ever, even ruiz has better wins than valuev. Someone said that everyone has their assets whithout which they'd be nothing, thing is valuev is naturally tall. Mayweather had to train hard for his defence, pac for his speed and the klits for their power. Valuev was born tall... without his size advantage he would be nothing.Comment
