Hello? ... Anyone home? Please see below. It came from Cotto's own mouth.
"Its no concern of mine whether it is 145 pounds or not," Cotto said.
"That is the usual weight that we cut down to for the weigh in, and in the ring—on fight night—I will go up eight to 10 pounds, so actually during the fight I will weigh around 155," stated Cotto.Hello? ... Anyone home? Please see below. It came from Cotto's own mouth.

What kind of bull**** is this? Uhh the weight is only before weigh-in rehydration weight dont matter wtfComment

Imo the weight had nothing to do with the outcome of the fight. yeah he looked more thin than usuall but he was in great shape. he lost because he chose the wrong gameplan, trying to trade speed and combos with manny. manny hands are too fast and and he has great power to go with it. you need to take yovr time, counter and jab and then turn up the workrate later against pac like jmm did. if you trade punches early and carelessly with pac like cotto did, you will get caught and get hurt. and thats what happen imo, im confident with a jmm type gameplan and trainer cotto can beat pac but too bad it will never happen.Comment

TO PR13: (I do hope you reply to this) I respect your observation, and yes cotto seemed slightly smaller than his previous fights. I would also like to present a point.
WHAT PAC FANS AND HATERS FAILED TO NOTICE IN THIS THREAD:
Haters are complaining why there was a catch weight or even the alleged
"rehydration weight limit thing"
You are saying that Cotto SHOULD get the advantage for the fight.
Weight classes are made so that boxers could have a fair fight and test of skills.
To have a showdown of who the better boxer is given that they have the same
muscle mass at the very least given that reach, and height can't be changed.
Cotto is merely taller than Pac. They are almost as tall as each other. Having said that,
the most ideal and unbiased scenario is to have both men fight at Welter Weight -
Cotto's natural weight and Pac's RECENT weight. So why is it that people are complaining
that Cotto should be bigger? The world knows that after weigh in, Cotto will definitely be
heavier than Pac. Everybody knows he was the supposed stronger one.
To sum it up. I think your point is LIKE saying that a fair fight with Pac is to be way heavier than him. Its like saying a fair fight with Pac is to have a 160 Cotto fight a 150 Pac. Oh its just fair that way right?
ITS LIKE SAYING:
a fair fight with Bruce Lee is to have 5 goons versus 1 Bruce Lee (that should be fair).
20 Second head start against Michael Phelps (that might not even be enough)
2 Nba guys against 1 Michael Jordan (That should be fair)
Babe Ruth should be given a shorter bat. (That should even things out)
and finally
Cotto at 160 vs. Pac at 150 on fight night (fair enough right?)
This point just means that Pac is so great you have to have that advantage...
you know.. just to be fair *winkComment

He was allowed, but only for a small nibble of lettuce while he was let out of his steel cage for his daily naked whipping by Freddie Roach.
Freddie is an evil bastard.
