Luevano: "Juanma and His Team are Underestimating Me"

Juan Ma ran and hid from Cab because he knew that Celly Celestino AKA the Towering Inferno was going to melt his igloo. Luevano is gonna be to Juan Ma what Molitor was to Caballero. Both are feather fisted punchers with the same style and punch resistance. The Rican posters on here don't give Cab credit for his win over Molitor. So why should Juan Ma get credit for beating Luevano when Luevano and Molitor are mirror images of each other? Double standards? And Molitor was in the top 3 or 4 at 122 and had a belt like Luevano does. This fight is bull****. Caballero vs. Juan Ma would've been for all the marbles. I'm not even really a Cab fan and I think Poon would've handled both Juan Ma and Cab at 122. It's just that Juan Ma is a worse fighter than Caballero and knows he can't beat him.

Dude, WTF? As much as I can't stand Mayweather, he at least started out fighting top opponents. Juan Ma is just like all these other Top Rank fighters. So I shouldn't single him out. It seems like Arum won't throw Pavlik, Soto, or Donaire in a tough fight either. And those guys are capable of fighting higher level opponents than they are fighting.

Mellow, they offered Caballero 150K I posted the inetrview about it, and his team rejected it.

If Caballero was looking for legacy and not money like he says, why he doesnt chase Poosawat who is the WBA champ and the #2 ranked SBW?

Iceta's **** face cant be bashing Juanma when they offered Caballero the money plus he aint looking to fight the bigger legacy fight himself.

The anticipated fight between Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez and the Panamanian Celestino "Pelenchín Caballero will not be in January 2010 as anticipated.

However, the representatives of Caballero, super bantamweight World Boxing Asociation and International Boxing Federation champion, did not rule out that the boxers are in a ring in the future.

Caballero was in New York last weekend to tune a unification agreement with Lopez early next year, but the financial offer did not fill their expectations.

"It appears the fight will not go, but it is also not ruled out that Lopez and Caballero will be facing in the near future," said Rogelio Espino, manager and promoter of Caballero in a telephone interview from Panama.

"I understand that for the sake of both fighters it would be better for both to go up in weight to 126 pounds and then revisit the issue of a fight."

Caballero has repeated on several occasions that it is eager to unify the crowns with Lopez, but Espino acknowledged that it is clear that the company boricua promoter (Top Rank) take another route. "All indications are that Lee will fight with Steven Luevano, so we will not sit around to wait," he said.
