Regardless Wlad vs. Castillo is an IBF heayweight title eliminator, so Wlad will fight another "soft" opponent, Byrd, if he beats Castillo.

Hey, does anyone over in Europe get that fight live? And yeah, I know people will see it live, I mean any boxingscene people get the coverage live? I understand that HBO's coverage is on tape delay. I know someone is gonna see that **** before I do and I won't be coming on boxingscene on that day so I won't know what happened until I see it.

        Ahhh, no.

        From **********.net:

April 14, 2005 - Contrary to a report on *********.com, HBO's April 23 dreck between Wladimir Klitischko and Eliseo Castillo will NOT be an IBF eliminator for the right to challenge champion Chris Byrd. With or without a monitor, even the IBF wouldn't sink that low. Klitschko-Castillo could only be considered an eliminator, in that it eliminates one half of a brother tandem from the heavyweight landscape, thus crossing off another name off HBO's must see list. ********** has began to hear rumors that Jim Lampley and Larry Merchant may commentate the bout with bags over their heads.

Yes I'm not a big fan of them either, but the point is the Klitschko Castillo fight isn't going to be an eliminator.

I guess that means Neuraxis is "exposed".

Ahhh, yes. You are just about the only person who would believe Greg Leon, who has been whining about the Castillo vs. W. Klitschko fight ever since it was made over

The article from ********** was posted after both of those.

I don't like Leon either, but I don't see why he'd make that up.

                We'll see.

To be honest, I wish we could just skip this fight, it's useless. Another fighter like TOS who's going to run early on with the hopes of taking Wlad into deep water, not realizing the water won't be that deep if he doesn't do anything to tire Wlad out. After the TOS fight, everyone was saying how TOS would have KO'd Wlad later in the fight, what a bunch of BS. At least Brewster can be given credit for taking all those shots, and being there to take advantage when Wlad got weak, but TOS just ran and ran, hell Wlad still looked fresh at the end of the 5th round, nothing like against Brewster. At least find someone that has some kind of a punch. And for those thinking of replying "TOS dropped him, why do you want someone with a bigger punch than his", just look back a few pages in this thread.
