im sorry im a calaghr hate but...
comon...theres one thing bashing his record. I agree he could have pushed himself more..but you cannot say he was ****. He imo was on par with floyd and pac as one of the best boxer of our generation.
Okay so lacey was over hyped..but lets be honest the boxing so called experts all nhad lacey sparking calzaghe out. The rest is history.
Kessler win is still very good. He was undefeated, bare in mind kessler was a lot younger tha n calzaghe as well and i actually rewatched that fight and he schooled kessler alot more than headbutt goat ward did.
bernard hopkins ill admit perhaps could have gone to bernard as he made calaghe face a car crash and kncoked him down..but lets be honest, hopkins tired and started crawling on the floor for 2 minutes, faking low blows. In that 2 minute scalzaghe would have sparked him out.
Roy jones yes is past it...but so was calzaghe..it was a schooling.
Dont forget as well calzaghe had to win all his fights with very fral hands.
Now i dont like the guy..i think he had padded his record out..but to go undefeated is a great achievement and imo he has a better record than floyd mayweather.
