On the other hand, 20 percent of $25 million is five million dollars, so if someone wants 60%, they get a lot more money. (BTW, I just used 25 million for an example)

I agree with this, even though arguing about 1-5% seems petty and childish, when you're getting into the millions they're making, it's lots of money and I would probably agrue about it as well.
And I definitely agree about the bolded, it would save a lot of time and effort if they just agreed on that, but we'll see what happens. I'm not too bothered either way what the split is, just want to see the fight happen.
