      They should take Ch@mp's ratings!

Seriously, The Ring title is seen as more legit by most, but there still flaws with it.

I see it as legit, but the Ring does manipulate rankings to fit their purpose, and at times they are too reluctant to dish out their titles.

it's as legit as any title out there.

the ring's ranking is as legit a rankings as there is as well.

you might not agree with it 100% but that's what happens when you get a group of writers with different views.

in the end all that matters is who you fought.

if you win the ring magazine title from barrera , kostya , hopkins , etc.

you're as legit a champion as there can be in you're division.

if you win it by beating baldomir , spinks , etc.

            not so much.

              For me, YES.

I was thinking about this the other day actually. If someone unified the titles then relinquished those titles, like the WBC, IBF, WBA...but kept the Ring belt and kept fighting the best in the division...do the other belts matter anymore?
And are you still the "Champion"?

For me, I say those other belts become **** because the best in the division has the Ring Belt and really, at the end of the day, belts don't really matter...it's about the Fighter.

Yeah, I mean their ratings might be a little off.

It's usually when the number 1 & 2 fight in a division, that definately should give a fighter the lineal title.
