Bob Arum's ever changing opinion of Floyd Mayweather.

First off, I am FAR from a Mayweather nuthugger. I respect the guy inside the ring but his outside the ring personality is a different matter. Im not here to say if he ducks people or who will win in a Pac/Mayweather matchup up. I just want to refresh you guys if you forgot.

Bob Arum NEVER had a problem with Mayweather until he left Top Rank.

    Bob Arum before Mayweather left:
"Floyd Mayweather maybe the best fighter in the last 30 years"

    Bob Arum today:
    "Floyd fights scared"
"Floyd is afraid to fight Pacquiao"

Moral of the post is that guys form your own opinions and dont listen to all the bull**** hype that gets thrown out by promoters and people in the game.

I know some of the responses will be that floyd has changed and thats why Bob has begun to hate him.

But i guarantee you if Floyd still fought for Top Rank. Bob would be singing a very different tune.

Please give us Mayweather - Pacquiao so we can put all this hype to rest and see who truly is better the way it should be...in the ring.

Sounds like a regular boxing promoter to me...

Still, the way Arum has fed Cotto/Margarito some unbelievably awesome matches leads me to believe Mayweather would have left Arum as soon as he tried to put him in a tough fight anyway (above 135).

Bob Arum did a pretty good job of making his boxers a super star. It's only when they reach the top level that they start to have trouble with Arum.

I don't know why Pacquiao doesn't buy himself out of Arum's contract. He could have done it right before the De La Hoya fight. He probably wouldn't get Cotto but the money he made from DLH and Hatton without having to split it with Arum would compensate for that.

He would also collect more in a fight with Floyd. He's at a point where his name sales, he in a sense promotes top rank fights when they appear on his undercard.

co-sign. but i think pac is loyal because Arum has gotten him this far...so i cant really hate on the guy being good to a guy that helped his career so much.

SO IF YOU CAN'T BELIEVE ARUM, THEN YOU ALSO SHOULDN'T BELIEVE FLOYD!!!

Floyd is an actual HOF fighter, he knows more about boxing and has more insight than Arum.
                  Foolish comparison.

Arum has been in the business since before Floyd was born. He don't know how to fight, but he knows how to promote. floyd can't promote for **** and has to have GBP promote for him.
