There are people who have been able to parlay their personalities into bigger stardom, fame and money. Guys like Malignaggi, Mayweather, Tarver, Hamed, etc.

Floyd invested in his image and "star power" by doing all that outside of the ring stuff. Love him or hate him, he has been pretty astute about how he got it done.
No, what I mean is it seems that floyd for some reason in his head believes he is a star first and boxer second. So he expects to go on radio shows and talk shows and the host to just ask him questions that they would ask regular actors or musicians. And when they ask him about boxing he flips out and gets all defensive. But in reality he is not that famous and people know him as a boxer rather then a personality.

im not going ot feed into the conspiracy. but if GL is a pac fan, then its possible he would def ask May questions that are heavily baised instead of unbiased.

but still, think about it. FLoyd having this news out there its still good for promoting a fight.

i wouldnt put it past floyd to have done this on purpose

He's just trying to make Floyd look bad because he doesn't like him right? I mean after all the guy is Mexican and it's clear that he favors Pac

Yes. That is what i am saying. Naz focused on entertainment. Arthur Abraham asked his promoter for the same entrance that he saw in a Madonna show.

Some guys see themselves beyond boxing. Floyd has said that he is an entertainer. Boxing is just the vehicle to that broader arena, if you will.

It was a bad idea to book a long segment on a talk show during the week that both sides agreed to a private negotiation.

I would, why would`nt Floyd want to talk about a fight with Pacquiao when it gives the fight more publicity?

George` Lopez is a clown whose still bitter about Oscars loss to Floyd.

Yeah i know the problem I have with mayweather is that he is delusional and thinks he is bigger then boxing when really all he is to the public is a boxer.

Mayweather claims pac is easy than why not take 50-50 and run the bank? Because he fears if he loses his marketing value will go down since he has a lost. What he fails to understand is boxing fans. If mayweather fights his heart out and still loses he may actually win new fans instead of losing fans. On the other hand, if he ducks pac, than his marketing value will go very down. As a result, when he understands that he will eventually agree to the fight.
You kinda said what I was thinking, I pretty much agree on everything besides one thing. If Floyd loses he will lose a lot of marketing, there's no gain for him in a loss.
