Lewis cut him up because he was good though. These current guys will never throw shots like that or get into position to do it.

      maybe.
still doesnt change the fact that vitaly has no chance to prove himself against someone like prime tyson or ali.
he should beat wladimir, then i would put him in top 5 HW list

Exactly mate. Your knowledge is shocking. You are being blinded by history and old men who tell grand stories about 'Ye Old Greats'.

Vitali is an absolute monster, plain and simple. I doubt it's possible to knock him - he is that tough. He hits like a truck, has great speed, defence and boxing brain. He would absolutely murder some of the guys from the past - it wouldn't even be funny.

I doubt Tyson would even get near him - Tyson's prime opponents were bums compared to Vitali.

David Haye could have a possibility against Vitaly fighting slik & smart but I think Dr. Steelhammer could knock him out.
Eddie Chambers is the only one with a decent tecnique but I am not sure he has the power to get toe to toe with Vitaly (but with his Winky defense could go to the distance, not that easy against Steelhamer uh).

I would pick prime Lewis, Holmes, Ali, Tyson and Foreman against him. Not sure Frazier, Dempsey and Liston beating him.

Nah, he's tough, but he's been wobbled a bit. He's just awkward as hell to fight. Someone needs to be a very good mobile boxer AND have a good chin to beat him though.

I don't listen to stories. I just watch them fight, instead. I've watched too many fights from the past and most of Vitali's fights. He would be destroyed by a lot of them.

Maybe you should try watching old fights, as well. It can help you make valid opinions.

He doesn't have speed. His defense is okay. I'll admit he does have a good boxing brain. But he wouldn't cut it against a lot of the ATG heavyweights.

I would take that quote and put it in my sig but that's too mean.

It seems like I've been arguing with a guy who is blinded by favoritism. Shame on me for wasting my time actually debating with you.

                I'm done.

I don't see what so great about the Klitschkos, they don't impress me at all. A prime tyson, ali, lewis, foreman, holyfeild would give them trouble. To be honest they fight like damn 6 year old girls, with there hands down, uncoordinated sloppy movement, looping uppercuts that come from so low you'd see them a mile away. Really why are they so special? for dominating a lackluster heavyweight division and not even looking good doing it? Why don't one of them fight tua, hell give them a fight. Chambers will be competative. They're not impressive

Vitali combines his physical advantages with great boxing ability, though.

i agree. exactly why is said "these ROUND heavyweights" i have to admit Vitali is a good fighter but to be honest the only worthy competition he has had is Lewis and he lost. So its hard to gauge how good the guy really is. No doubt the guy is a hell of an athlete and the best heavyweight in the last few years but in legacy standards your can only become ATG by beating solid fighters and having signature victories.
