Floyd's defense will not beat Pacquaio.. he will have to fight.

If this fight is made.. which I doubt.. unless Floyd is allowed to come in above 150lbs where he feels he is assured a victory... Floyd's defense will not win the fight.. he will have to fight. Pacquaio is more destructive than Cotto.. who is a danger to any Welterweight. Pacquaio will hurt Floyd.. Pacquaio is a different fighter at Welterweight.. ask DLH, Hatton or Cotto.. he wasnt as destructive at the lower weights. Pacquaio throws fast, hard combinations to the head. Remember.. Floyd gets hit and stunned ie Hatton and Judah.. Pacquaio is faster and much more explosive than both. If they fight Pacquaio willl hurt Floyd early.. Floys only chance of winning is to go offense and KO Pacquaio.. his defense wont win this fight. Mark my words.

It'll be a good competitive fight, PBF has great Defense (shoulder roll FTW! not to mention superb punch timing). Manny has great offense (punching from angles with speed and power).
PBF might be ducking, but he said he was out for the money so if you were in his position; you'd go for the biggest money fight too.

Ellerbe has no reason to talk about opposition when Floyd took on Marquez. Sure, Pac takes on them when they are on the downhill but taking Marquez was one great *****-Move on Floyd's part.

I believe it will be. However, after the fight, the haters, including boxing internet writers and sportscasters, will start saying things like Pacquaio was overrated or had too many distractions -- anything to avoid giving Mayweather the credit he deserves.

If Pacman & Mayweather fight will push thru, I would like to remind Mr. Ellerbe to specify in the contract that the minimum
size of the fighting ring must be 30 ft x 30 ft, to have enough
space for Mayweather to run around and to make the fight more easier for him. As I observed during Pacman-Cotto fight
the 20 ft x 20 ft is not enough for Cotto to run around.

I think we are looking at the best offensive fighter in the world (Manny) vs the best defensive fighter in the world (Floyd). It will be a tough fight....but I think defense wins here. Marquez gave Manny trouble because he places punches well, solid combinations, with accuracy. Really good offensive fighters....Castillo, Judah, Hatton, gave Floyd trouble at times. We cannot compare their opponents....styles make fights...and both are bringing a style to the ring that neither has seen. The questions for me are....can Manny handle Floyd's power (he has pop)? Has Floyd's reflexes slowed enough to where a very fast/quick Manny can catch him from different angles?? We will see.....

no excuse for not taking 50/50 , and floyd has never got in the ring with a guy close to as good as manny, not even close. cotto would give floyd a good fight. always saying you would easily beat all these guys but you wont fight them, if there so easy, money shouldnt matter that much cuz theres no chance you'll lose right? never fought cotto, margs, mosley, clottey, not one top WW. if they were all easy fights you should have probably just beat them cause people would actually think you are one of the greatest if you did that. Even though i agree that pbf hasn't faced good opposition he has faced better opposition than pac. What pac has faced is superstars not good boxers. After hatton was destroyed by pbf he wasn't even good anymore cotto the same too he was superstar he got destroyed by margarito and lost the clottey fight but received a gift from the judges. Now pbf faced castillo that version of castillo would put a whooping on pacquiao **** if the old and washed up castillo beat up pac all trough camp imagine that version that in my eyes and many experts beat pbf on their first encounter. Not to mention corrales and baldomir and a dlh on 154 even though dlh was past his best years he still was competitive during pbf fight. If that same level of dlh would of showed up to pacs fight he would of murder pac.
