His heart wasn't in it, it seemed he wasn't willin to go thro anything to get the win. Plus his head just wasn't there hence his timing was out! That has something to do with wards performance tho

That was my impression also. Yes he was seriously thrown by Wards skills, but I felt there was "something else" going on.

          Kessler did not quit.
          He was neutralized.
          Ward showed everything.
          Movement, punching, clinching when needed.
          Kessler couldn't press the fight.
          Ward wouldn't let him.

Im tired of hearing excuses from Kessler fans-look,his style was made for Ward. All styles like Kessler's get caught out by slick fighters with speed. For proof of this look at Pavlik vs Hopkins. Styles truely make fights, and I believe Kessler owns Froch and Abraham.
Like Kelly Pavlik,Mikkel needs to plant his feet, stand upright, and use a 1-2.This is too basic of arsenal against fighters with speed and lateral movement-slick fighters are used to going against these styles-they train for it.
When you guys watch Kessler beat up Froch, what will your excuses be?Mikkel is good at what he does, and has done against limited skilled fighters. He has a top jab,and a helluva good combination and power, but Ward knew EXACTLY how to neutralize this.Instead of demeaning Andre Ward's win, give him props and wait until Kessler fights Froch to say he is shot. You say Mikkel didn't look good after Calzaghe, but then say Ward has had limited opposition until Kessler-which is it? By saying Kessler was over-rated,what do you think Calzaghe was if he beat him (at least Kessler made it competitive with Joe-something he couldn't do with Andre)?
Kessler will bounce back and have a new belt in his next fight-you watch.Froch doesn't give weird angles, have speed, evasive skills or anything that will take Kessler out of his game.Froch stands at the perfect distance allowing Mikkel to thump him with jabs, combos, etc. If Dirrell had Carl hurt, trust me-he will be there for the taking for Mikkel.
            Kessler still has it.

He tried, and whenever he did, he couldn't land anything, and got countered.

Ward was just too accurate and quick for him. Kessler became gun shy after getting hit clean with so many shots. He payed every time he missed.

It will be interesting to see Kessler vs. Froch, it will show if Kessler has declined or if Ward is as great as he looked. It's a bad situation for Froch, anything less then a KO of Kessler will make him look bad after how Ward handled Kessler. If Kessler on the other hand beats Froch it will show that he still is to be reckoned with even if he clearly showed he has big problems with slick, fast fighters.
