I believe Mayweather's resume compares well to Pacquiao's over the course of both of their careers. Recently Pacquiao has had the better opposition but boxing in my view is not about what you've done recently, but about what you've done period.

If you believe Mayweather has never fought a fighter the calibre of Pacquiao then you'll probably agree that Pac has never fought a fighter the calibre of Mayweather. Here's where we may differ:

While I agree that both have never fought fighters quite like one another I believe Pacquiao is more unique and dynamic than he is a STEP UP in pure class for Mayweather whereas Mayweather is a true step up in class for Pacquiao. That being the case I feel confidant in believing the classier more intelligent fighter will find a way to win this fight over the dynamo that is Manny Pacquiao.

I think he has a better chance of hitting Mayweather than any other fighter he has fought. Manny throws punches from every angle. I don't think he throws wild punches. Mayweather will have trouble with Manny's speed too. He won't get tired like Zab Judah did.

        What Roach gonna say?
Mayweather will stump his man Paqui?

...then turn around & talk to Sr. Mayweather

        Is he gonna say...
        Paqui will jerk his sibling?

Just a game of nothing ---- just get it on, too much talk.

I agree. Mayweather will be the best fighter Manny has ever faced. You make a good point. I just think Manny fought the tougher opposition when they were in their prime too. De La Hoya or Marquez are probably the best fighters Floyd ever faced and Marquez was a great lightweight and a mediocre at best welterweight. De La Hoya has never won a big fight but did well the first 5 or 6 rounds against Floyd until he stopped using his jab. I think Pac will be able to knock Mayweather out. He just throws punches from so many angles and has speed.
