If Berto has a strong-mind and sticks with a gameplan(I hope it doesn't include standing toe-to-toe with Shane). Berto can't expect things to just be there for him, he'll have to look for his openings or make 'em.

Shane looks for that one-big shot these days. He's gonna have to look for Berto. I just don't think Shane has the legs for it anymore. Shane will be in shape, but those reflexes won't be.

Margarito is so slow compared to Berto. Cotto was able to hit Mosley cleanly pretty often. Unless Shane knocks him out early, I see a close fight.

This fight will be a clinch fest..I expect it to look a lot like Berto-Collazo ..a lot of inside fighting and clinching..except that Mosley is a lot more durable, more powerful, and has much better stamina than Collazo..

Berto showed A LOT of fatigue against Collazo..that'll be his downfall..Mosley will tax him with the wrestling and capitalize and go for the kill when Berto is in deep waters..

Berto is right, Margarito was a already a defeated man walking into the ring. As for the fight Berto might not want to slug it out with Shane. But I think Berto can win this one, should be interesting.

            Dig this...

BERTO is a BRAIN away from being a REALLY GOOD fighter. He's had enough time off to get one!! YOU guys who think he can't handle this type of fight, don't know boxing. As long as he uses his speed and keeps his distance, he can put himself in position to win this fight for sure. He's the WBC champion for a reason. He hasn't been fighting hand-picked opponents. He has skills to pay the bills and I have a hutch he will win. MOSLEY chased a MONEY fight all year and that will come back and haunt him @ some point. He could have tried to unify the belts months ago but because he is underestimating BERTO, he thinks he still can IT WILL BE A GOOD FIGHT!

You know what man, I think the way you envision it, will probably end up that way.

And yeah, you're right about Berto's cardio.

Could Berto have beaten Margo like Mosley did in the same situation? I doubt it.

Could Berto have been competetive against Cotto the way Mosley was? I doubt it

Do I even think Berto would have beaten Mayorga? I doubt it

Do I think Berto win over Collazo is misleading? Yes I do. He showed a lack of inside game for one. He was losing the fight. But his last couple of rounds he showed heart to some. Watch the first prime Mosley against a prime Hoya and see what wanting the last couple of rounds is all about in a great war. Plus Mosley shutout Collazo easily.

I'm sorry Rodriquez, Esrada (aleady ko by Cintron) The German Cat, Forbes, Rivera, and Urango don't do it for me. Plus his lack of inside game is going to hurt him in this fight. I doubt Shane slips he looked in shape already. Berto looked like Hatton, imo.

Then he's an idiot. He'll get knocked out by Mosley regardless.
