Froch is a good fighter, if you doubled his speed he would be awesome, but he is just so damned slow.

I think he actually can beat Kessler, he just needs to get the dane to "stand and trade" as he is so fond of saying, froch may be slow, but he can out punch the Dane.

froch is seen as being 'unskilled' by others. Although in comparison to other boxers he is less skilled you have to give him credit for what he has done in his career. Froch is a good boxer whether people will admit it or not. you simply couldn't have a career like his without being good.
i dont think anybody would argue that froch isnt a "good" boxer...i dont like the guy at all, but i have no problem admitting he is a solid professional boxer...

the difference is, there are some who strongly believe he is a world class boxer...i simply do not...he has some heart, and good endurance, but he just aint very stilled, and he's slow as hell...

that said, if he beats kessler i will be shocked...i will certainly give him credit for a victory over kessler...

i think the kessler fight will be ironic, because i think froch is going to hold kessler quite a bit and just make it a sloppy, boring fight...and thats exactly what he "accused" dirrell of doing after dirrell was hosed on the decision...

it would be the right strategy for froch to hold, because he just cant box with kessler on the outside...doesnt have the skill set...its funny how boxers who run their mouths -- froch being one of them -- so often look like hypocrites...

I don't want to take anything away from Andre Ward, who was great last night, however to be honest the Kessler didnt look like the Kessler who fought Calzaghe, where was all the good counter punches, that he didn't throw? he looks a lot more sluggish, his footwork was awful.
I think if Kessler Froch becomes a fight Froch will win. Kessler has to try to outbox Froch and jab and use the counter punch like he did of old? If he don't i fear for Kessler

Good thing the poll is private, I can hide from the Froch supporters.

it looked like the same kessler to me...this was just the first time he was exposed as a one-dimensional fighter...

ward was faster on the outside, and kessler simply cant fight on the inside...if froch can make it a sloppy, boring fight on the inside he has an outside shot to beat kessler, IMO...

He deserves some props if he beats Kessler.

Thats what i'm saying, basically here is the gameplan, close straight in to kessler, grab him, kidney shot, rabbit punch, low blow, headbutt, move 2 steps back, punch in the face, clinch, headbutt, low blow. etc etc

and it will work......it isn't pretty but for some reason i like his style, maybe its the obvious desire and willingness to do anything to win.....Kessler fights a gentleman's fight, and that won't do against Froch.
