Who will Freddie find as sparring partners for Manny, who can imitate Floyd's
style.

Oscar had the advantage of Floyd Sr. in his corner for a few fights, and with Freddie, he hired Shane to help with sparring.

I think Yuriorkis Gamboa would be as close to emulating Floyd's style as you can get. But he wont be able to simulate Floyd's reach advantage.

Floyd allowed himself to get into a brawl and be hit for fun against Corley. Judah trod on Floyd's foot for the 'knockdown' and, for all the talk of Zab handing Floyd his ass for the first third of the fight, his bright start never had Mayweather shook, much less dented in any way.


What I'm saying is, I don't think those fights are measuring-sticks for this one. Mayweather will be tack-sharp from the outset. He isn't ******, and all soundbites aside, he knows the 'firepower' he's dealing with.

An actual fight and sparring are 2 different things. Just because Gamboa is more offensive minded doesnt mean he doesnt have talent to emulate Floyd.

Gamboa has tremendous quickness and reflexes and uses that shoulder roll pretty well when he chooses to.

I am seriously cracking up over here about all you saying mayweather is over rated and ****... Manny is over rated if anything and if you watched his last 5 fights you would know that... Sure Manny is a good fighter, but get real he will not get inside on mayweather and he certainly will not land enough punches for a decision. He has to knock mayweather out or he has no shot...
