honestly, hatton should've been DQed but I still count that fight as hatton's best fight and the right strategy.
Should Hatton have been DQ for Holding and Hitting and Rabbit Punching Kostya Tszyu?

Clinching and holding in a clinch are not the same thing.
Clinching is not illegal, holding is illegal.Comment

Hatton did hold a lot in the fight with Tszyu, and the referee was wrong to permit it. But not more than did Ward last night. Ward was rabbit-punching and throwing low blows too. And Hatton didn't use deliberate head-butts like Ward.
Why does Benny Leonard so angrily bash Hatton for his holding, yet unconditionally APPROVE of everything Ward did last night? Why does he disapprove of Hatton's home ref, but unconditionally approve of Jack Weiss?
Is Benny Leonard biased? If so, what people is he biased against?
Who does Benny hate? Think about it.Comment

how many clinches can you do before it is too much?
Now, wouldn't holding actually be deemed more legal since it tends to be used when the fighter is hurt and is trying to survive while clinching is a tactic that the figher goes into the bout knowing he will use it for preventing the attack of the opponent?
Opponent gets hurt, he holds.
Opponent can't deal with pressure or the power, he clinches to stop the attack...all planned as a strategy to take away his opponents weapons.Comment

Hatton through illegal shots to the back of Tszyu's head...that is very dangerous and may have caused the injury to his brain.
but yes, I do think the head-butts may have had something to do with how Kessler felt with blurry vision...if that was the case...I wasn't sure.
He should have been deducted a point, then DQ if continued.Comment
