Taylor should be willing to take chump change for this fight AND the rematch should he win, this is a legacy-building fight and even if he loses he has plenty of time to come back. Bernard is playing head games AGAIN, trying to make Taylor think twice about the fight, because it's clear to me that if monetary issues are holding the fight up, Taylor doesn't want it bad enough.

Like Hopkins said, if Zab took $100,000 to fight Spinks in St.Louis, why won't Taylor take 1.8 and 2 mil or whatever to fight for UNDISPUTED middleweight supremacy and P4P elite status???

Mind boggling. Hopkins makes it difficult, but he would like to eliminate the last true middleweight threat that he has not beaten before he retires...

I would love to see that fight too and that was the fight that Hopkins wanted to be his last fight but Jones retired. Hopkins would win IMO no matter what year the fight takes place. In the first fight Jones won almost every round but Hopkins hurt Jones more than Jones hurt Hopkins. Hopkins hurt Jones bad at the end of round 11 and had him figured out late in teh fight. Jones did not dominate Hopkins at all in the first fight despite the lopsided scores.

Sturmrules, as soon as I read my reply again, I realized I omitted Felix. My apologies, he is definitely the only other middleweight threat besides Taylor.

Mandatory before the end of May??? I hope you mean he has to SIGN by then, not fight...fighting every three months is not feasible for Hopkins.
