You can see on the film that it was imparing his vision. It's frustrating when you can't see where the punches are coming from, but that's no excuse for some of the wild roundhouse punches he threw.

No doubt he was outclassed, but I don't think that's why it was stopped as the doctor actually said 'No, stop the fight' after seeing the cut up close.

actually, he didn't respond. Everytime his trainer asked, "Do you want me to stop it?" he would stay quiet.

Even the commentators stated Kessler appeared to be looking for a way out. But let me guess, it was because they were "biased yanks" right?

Yeah I saw that when his trainer asked him about stopping the fight he just went silent. I saw it streamed from Primetime but they were showing the Showtime broadcast. Kessler was blatantly looking for a way out and Ward was robbed of a KO, but all that is important is Ward won his belt and Kessler didn't get hurt bad.

It was stopped due to the cuts. The ref would have let him see out the fight if it wasn't for the cuts.

did you not watch the fight? he was telling his trainer he couldn't see by the 6th-7th round. He kept repeating it.

Yeah, it looked to me like Kessler was trying to bail out of the fight and his corner wouldn't let him.

i couldn't understand his corner anyways...but I thought I heard the interpreter say "no" when they asked if he wanted to stop.
