Froch vs Kessler Likely Heading To Denmark on March 6

If Sauerland insists on this fight taking place already in early March it's borderline criminal towards their own fighter. If they do that they show that they only care about Abraham and not about their danish import. If Kessler then gets stopped on cuts then Kalle Sauerland will be fair game in the eye of the danish public.

Sauerland has a legit contract with Kessler, which guarantees him approx. $2.65 mio for each of the preliminary bouts. You would guess that it's in SE's best interest to have a Kessler at 100% going into the fight vs. Froch. Plus there is a medical committee by the WBA/WBC installed of this tourney which has to clear Kessler in association with the Danish Boxing Union. So if Kess ain't ready for March 6 it will be deferred thill he's ready with a maximum of 6 month till his next fight - in conclusion, this fight has to happen in mid-May the latest...

It was just in the danish papers today that Sauerland insisted again that the fight was to be held at march 6.

I'm not negative towards Sauerland. They have given Kessler the fights that Palle wasn't able to. If Sauerland cares about Mikkel, they make sure that he's healed enough to get in a long camp. They should also ensure that they have some touch with the planning of the camp. This camp before Ward was not good enough IMO. 4 weeks of training is just not enough. There was a very long PR tour after the Perdomo fight and valuable time was lost. Add to that that the camp was in 3 different countries spanning 8 timezones you just know that the preparations ain't good enough.
