Need someone to explain this to me

I've made it clear that I'm not a Mayweather fan. Without further delay, here are my questions.

If people say Floyd is a ducker, dodger, overrated, never fought a threat, then why would a fighter be rated so high for beating him?

The haters say he's not even a top 50 ATG, but then expect Pacquiao to be a top 10 ATG for beating him.

I would like for someone to explain this to me.

Just a fan of the sport in general trying to understand some of these senseless claims.

I'm a Pacquiao fan but I rate Mayweather highly. Those that make these claims about Mayweather, don't even know what they are talking about, they started watching boxing in 2006.

With that said, Pacquiao is already rated above Maweather imho. Beating him should further cement his ATG status, regardless of where the haters place Mayweather at.

They dig a whole for themselves and bury themselves with their silly posts. Like Tua Jr said, they don't have a long time watching boxing.

Ill tell you this. Mayweather is hated for the fact that lately he foughts in a very 'safe' way, never really committing to his shots, to favor his composure, his control over distance, to never give his opponents openings to capitalize. He really opens up when his opponent is tired or hurt.

Some like the fact that hes very smart and has a great defence to offence style, that he can always adjust to his opponent, that he never lost a fight, that fighters after fighting him lose a lot of their confidence because they see someone with so much skills on front of him. Then others hate him for not being a slugger and go all out like a mosley or a Pacman...so basically because of that his resume gets downplayed.

He also now (after a great career at 130, 135 and 140...many ppl dont even know or acknowledge that) fights for MONEY and he admits that, unlike some fighters who say theyre fighting for their country but in reality theyre liers because they still want the big money fights, and this is another reason for the delusional fanatics of boxing to hate him.

Ill say that if its debatable for him to be not in the top 30 ATG RESUME WISE (but theres also a case of him ruining his opponents so they never did good AFTER him) but no one, even the biggest hater, can deny his skills in the ring. Thats why if Pac beats him hes going to be praised a lot...because he would beat a top 5 ATG SKILLS WISE

Mayweather would beat PAcman, and prove Mayweathers greatness, but in Pacman wins wooooh
