oscar was taller and had all the advantages as far as reach, height , and weight. as far as hatton goes it was his style to rush in and fight inside. that is not mannys style. hes not gonna get inside on mayweather. that doesnt help him at all. hes gonna try and force mayweather into exchanges and try to land power shots. mayweather sr being back with floyd has helped him with his jab and his defense. cotto was able to land his jab and i expect floyd to land his too.

Youre right Oscar had those advantages and what happened after he stopped using his jab, Floyd began to take over and edge out the remainder of the fight to take a 1 point decision! PAC will not not fade and Floyd will not be able to wait him out to throw punches which has been his tendency! There is no question Floyd can land his jab, I just question will he try! I think we agree that it's important that he does and u admit that having his dad back that it's something that they r gonna work on! But I disagree that getting inside doesn't benefit manny! He will have to rough mayweather up, he may not land anything clean but he has to touch him! It's the only way he may be able to eventually hit him flush! He'll get outboxed on. The outside, we all know that! So he has to get inside and work when he gets there! Another thing is PAC doesn't have to force him to exchange! This is where roach and PAC can be smart, if they can steal rounds because Floyd is inactive like he was early against Oscar, they will force his hand and he will have open up because he will down on the cards! Roach already said the fight will not exciting! I think it's because he will try to take some of the aggression out of manny and make him smarter and more selective with his punches! Trying to minimize floyd's ability to counter manny!

Do people really believe mayweather senior would train Hatton to beat his son? Of course not. Hatton was short changed by Senior mayweather.

Theres no way Senior would want Hatton to beat his son. It wouldnt suprise me if Senior was deliberately giving wrong advice and training to hatton.

Hatton should have used Roach as a trainer

Remember Floyd fought an undefeated Hatton. Pac fought a Hatton who was mentally and physically destroyed. Hatton cried for days after Mayweather embarrassed him and his fans (I feel for the ones that bet there house). He was a completely different fighter and never was even a threat to Pac in any shape or form going INTO the fight. Hatton was done two years ago. Mayweather killed him, Pac just zipped up the body bag for processing.

Point is Hatton was confident going into the Mayweather fight. VS Pac he was nothing of the kind. He was punch shy. Just as Jones jr has been for several years now. He's never been the same since getting KO'ed.

Hatton was a CONFIDENT and a UNDEFEATED CHAMPION when Mayweather put him to sleep. Afterwords Hatton was mentally and physically broken.
